“Easy for Me” magazines
“Easy for Me” are easy-to-read magazines for people of all abilities. We designed these magazines to give people ideas for keeping busy and staying connected while they were at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The magazines have recipes, puzzles and activities, and a helpful guide to online activities.
While they aren’t presented in a traditional Easy Read format, they are written at a Grade 4 reading level. They were also tested with a group of people with varying literacy levels in an Australian Disability Enterprise.
