National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children

We worked with the Australian Government Department of Social Services (DSS) to create an Easy Read version of their National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022–2032. We are very proud to have worked on this document.

Accessible information about violence is important so that it is easier for people to understand when it is happening and how to get support.

The original document was very long. We wanted to make the Easy Read version shorter and easy to understand, but we didn’t want to leave any information out.

We decided to split the document into 3 parts:

• ‘What is our plan about?’
• ‘Why do we need our plan?’
• ‘How will we deliver our plan?’.

We also created a guide to help users navigate each part. You can read the Easy Read version on the DSS website.
