About our accessible document services
Our accessible document services ensure your documents are inclusive and usable for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We make sure documents are tagged correctly and comply with the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We can work with Microsoft Word documents, PDF files, InDesign files and HTML web pages.
What we will do
We will make sure your document complies with WCAG by:
- adding alternative text for images and graphics
- structuring content with proper formatting for screen readers
- creating accessible tables and lists for easy navigation
- ensuring correct reading order and logical flow
- testing documents using accessibility tools and assistive technology
- testing document accessibility across different devices and platforms.
Guidelines we follow
We follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA for the production of accessible documents. We also adhere to the publishing standards of individual organisations and follow the advice of the Australian Government Digital Transformation Agency.
Our experience
We have extensive experience creating accessible documents. Not only is this our standard practice in all the work we do, but we provide this as a separate service for already completed documents.
