Taylor Fry review of the Annual Financial Sustainability Report

Client:

Department of Social Services (DSS)

Project type:

Easy Read

Topic(s):

  • Banking and finance
  • Government and legal

The Australian, state and territory disability ministers wanted to understand what is driving the rising costs of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Taylor Fry, an analytics and actuarial consulting firm, was asked to consider cost drivers and underpinning assumptions in the Scheme Actuary’s 2020–2021 Annual Financial Sustainability Report (AFSR).

To make sure as many people as possible can understand the Taylor Fry report, we worked with the Australian Government Department of Social Services (DSS) to develop an Easy Read version. Producing Easy Read versions of these complex financial reports is a relatively new and innovative practice. We are proud to be working at the forefront of accessibility services alongside DSS.

You can find the Taylor Fry report on the Department of Social Services’ website.
