Feeling safe in your community Survey 2024

We created an Easy Read version of the Victoria Police community sentiments survey. This survey helps Victoria Police hear ideas and understand safety concerns of diverse communities across Victoria.

We chose not to use a third-party platform for this survey. Instead, we built the survey using HTML for greater customisation and to make sure it met accessibility requirements.

We worked closely with Victoria Police to ensure the Easy Read survey responses would align with data collection from the standard survey.

Consideration of these challenges and user needs shaped the final Easy Read survey and will allow Victoria Police to engage a wider range of respondents.
